Vows

After writing about Robert Rauschenberg's trip to India and the Jammer Series, which Rauschenberg produced from textiles and objects he collected on site, I mimicked the wall piece Vow with custom made garments. For the inner sides I used classic apparel fabrics and for the reverse sides functional and untreated fabrics, which are usually used in painting or stage design. Each garment was installed on the wall and complemented with a piece of bamboo.
